Sustainable Development

The principles of sustainable development are an integral part of our development strategies for our urban campus. It could hardly be otherwise, since ÉTS has signed the climate emergency declaration and is committed to carbon neutrality. At ÉTS, sustainability means supporting sustainable development!

ÉTS’s priorities

The ÉTS campus is located in Griffintown in the heart of downtown Montréal, the leading francophone university city in North America. Our urban campus is in full expansion mode, harmoniously integrating into our neighbourhood. The ÉTS urban plan calls for the future construction of a complex on the site of the former Dow brewery, the creation of parks and green spaces and the construction of new student residences.
