Students are at the heart of the ÉTS mission. They are the engineers of tomorrow. By supporting their widely diverse spectrum of activities, you are contributing to their education and ensuring the vitality and commitment of future generations of engineers.
PRIORITIES: DONATING WHERE IT COUNTS
Assistance Fund d’urgence
Did you know that there is a permanent Assistance Fund at ÉTS? Since it was created, more than 400 students and their families have received emergency financial assistance or a Christmas basket.
In fact, 69% of requests come from students who have family responsibilities. This Fund is there to help them during their most difficult times.
Women in engineering
Twice as many men graduate with a university engineering diploma compared to the number of women.
The gap continues to widen, but ÉTS believes that that the solution lies in taking action.
The world needs more female engineers, so we must increase female representation in engineering.
Whether you are an individual or you represent a company, you can show your support for students by donating to or offering a scholarship. At ÉTS, scholarships encourage perseverance and the pursuit of excellence.
Science and technology clubs
Every year, hundreds of students who are members of approximately thirty science clubs participate in national and international engineering competitions and help to enhance the reputation of ÉTS through their outstanding performance.
Recognized at the provincial level, our sports teams are a source of pride for the entire ÉTS community. Thank you for your support.
Student groups at ÉTS have a social, cultural or community mission. Your donations make it possible for students to be involved in their community.
ÉTS is home to Centech, one of the leading tech start-up accelerators in the world. Supporting the growth of a start-up company means contributing directly to our society’s capacity for innovation.
Would you like to support a specific research project, chair or engineering discipline? Are you looking to develop pragmatic solutions to problems affecting industry? Do you want to contribute to the funding of research chairs or the acquisition of equipment? Your donation will be used to support research and innovation at ÉTS.
In order to accomplish its mission, ÉTS requires a stimulating and highly competitive urban campus. Support the development of ÉTS to help maintain a living and working environment that is conducive to learning, research and innovation, with the facilities necessary to equip the campus of the future geared toward the advancement of education.
Philanthropy made easier: Monthly donations
Easy and flexible
The amount of your contribution is automatically withdrawn from your bank account or charged to your credit card on the 15th or 28th of each month, whichever you choose. You can change the date at any time.
This option allows you to attain the desired level of donation with fewer budgetary constraints, to plan in advance and to spread your annual donation amount over many months in accordance with your budget and charitable objectives. You will receive a single consolidated tax receipt in January for the total of your donations during the previous year.
Regardless of the amount, your donation makes a difference on a daily and monthly basis. Your commitment is combined with that of others like you, increasing its impact and effectiveness. We are all stronger together.
International donations: Contributions and taxes
Who is eligible?
